Programs like Laundry Love, Becca's Closet and Park Players are how we serve as God's hands in our community. Your donation helps us reach out to those most vulnerable, right were we live. "...for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me." (Matthew 25:35-36)
Becca's Closet is relocating to a new home at Our Savior's Lutheran Church (3300 Rural St.) and could use your help. We will be moving our collection of 1500 formal gowns and dresses on Saturday April 1st and will be having another work day on Saturday April 8th at Our Saviors to be ready for the upcoming Prom season. Both days begin at 10am and should end by 2pm. Heavy lifting is NOT required of all volunteers and we will be able to find a way for everyone, regardless of mobility issues or restrictions, to help.
